Commemorating The International Day for The Remembrance of Slave Trade and its Abolition, and the Badagry Slave Route Project as Proclaimed by UNESCO

Badagry is noted for her rich History,Heritage and Culture. Now a contractor wants to wipe away our history. The 16th century Slave Port at Marina Badagry has been completely destroyed. This is part of the conspiracy to open beer joints on our heritage Sites. Our efforts is about to be wasted through the ignorance of a Lagos state contractor. No government will authorize this destruction of people legacy. Please join hands to protest on the 23rd, of august against this act .This day is the 13th. edition of the UNESCO declaration of the INTERNATIONAL DAY FOR THE REMEMBRANCE OF THE SLAVE TRADE AND ITS ABOLITION which the Badagry community has been celebrating since 1999.Do we have Tourism Ministry in Lagos State or Tourism Mystery.ALL LOVERS OF PEACE SHOULD RISE UP TO CONDEMN THIS IGNORANCE.We shall do something to stop this arrogance.
